DAVID + SHANNON at Crowne Plaza

David and Shannon were so much fun to work with this weekend. The day started early for me (Chris) as I drove from Bakersfield to Ventura to the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel right on the beach. The weather was perfect for a beach wedding, and the Pacific weather gave us some nice clouds as you can see.

David had a lot of fun posing with is brother and they were a little shocked when I came in real close to get the shot. What a lovely expression on their faces though. While scouting the location, I found a few little gems and places to take some great shots.

The shot below with David, the groom, sitting on the couch with is lovely bride Shannon, was one of those tucked away little spots that made for a great shot. The lobby of the Crowne Plaza had a few little crannies like this for taking pictures. And I am never above moving furniture or other things to get the shots I want.

While there wasn’t a DJ, it was definitely a great party. Everyone was so happy for David and Shannon. The Crowne Plaza catered the meal as we ate on the top floor overlooking the Pacific ocean (what a view), and it was an amazing meal. I was so happy on the drive back for having worked with such an amazing couple. We wish David and Shannon the best, and they already found that in each other.
