After their ten years together–building one of the most beautiful relationships we have ever seen–Megan and Earl decided to tie the knot in one of the most beautiful places around–Megan’s parents’ estate near Porterville, California! Megan and Earl not only have the epitome of a classic look, they are also true gems! Their beautiful and playful personalities are incredibly contagious, and throughout our entire experience with them, we couldn’t help but smile.
We photographed Megan and Earl’s engagement session–which was GORGEOUS–and knew that when we photographed their wedding, it would be equally as incredible and energetic. You see, Megan and Earl not only have a vibe that makes everyone around them feel their happiness, they also have a really energetic side…one in which is EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE! Just ask Earl about how Megan broke his finger open by stepping on his hand when they were racing to the top of a hill in Santa Monica after hiking to the shipwreck — if you’ve never seen or been to this spot, we must tell you, it is quite rocky! Megan pushed Earl down, pushing her hand in his face, and beat him to the top!
On the day of the wedding, both Megan and Earl were all smiles–so excited to officially spend the rest of their lives together! As you can see from the images, everyone was all smiles. There were jokes being told throughout and stories about Megan and Earl’s adventures; it was really inspiring and heartwarming to see a couple so in love who shared an incredible friendship, as well. When we started taking photos, we knew we wanted to capture all the classic moments in the most classic ways. As we said, Megan and Earl are a real class act!
The moment Megan stepped into her dress and the light billowed in from the window, Chris knew he had to snap a photo! She looked like pure “Hollywood Glamour.” We knew we had a theme from that moment on, and we ran with it!
We loved being a part of Megan and Earl’s most special day–we are glad no one was injured during any competition in the day :p–and we know that Megan and Earl will have a lifetime of adventures and hilarious stories to tell. Thank you so much, as we raise a glass to you both!
